savasana...shhh...namaste

There are two types of savasana: instructor-guided and self-guided. If you’re given the option of self-guided savasana, please leave the yoga space quietly, so others may continue to rest in peace.

Practice silence during savasana. This last pose seals your practice with good intentions and prepares you for the next phase. If you must leave before the end, leave before people settle into savasana, and be as quiet as possible!

arrive early to avoid locked doors

We value everyone’s time and schedules, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before class. The class will start ON TIME at aspire. Make it a habit to arrive early.  If you arrive late, you will be asked to join another upcoming class on the schedule, or you will have to leave.  Outside of shopping hours, our doors lock at the beginning of class and are not open until class is over. When you do arrive, please check in at the front desk. We promise we will get to know you, but until then, please let us know you have arrived.

let's keep the floor clean

Yoga classes are on hard floors, and everyone does yoga with bare feet. That means one thing: No shoes inside the studio!

Please kick your shoes off in our designated areas. There are cubbies in the hallways and women’s dressing area for your belongings and shoes.

silence is golden

A yoga class at aspire might be the first taste of silence and solitude many have had all day, please respect the sanctity of the space and save your conversations for outside the classrooms.

Items to leave in your car or cubby…PHONES. We love seeing your sweaty selfies, but please snap them outside the hot, barre or salt rooms. Phones are a hard pass in these areas, please leave them in your car or with your other belongings.

post hot class...what to do?

We love helping you get your sweat on, but please help us keep the space clean. If you rented a mat from the studio,  please roll it up and return to the front desk.  If you created a puddle of sweat, wipe it with your towel you brought from home. If you used props, put them back!  Take all your stuff with you.  It takes all of 60 seconds at most but it shows you respect others who will come to use the space and that you have good manners and can be trusted!

minimize conversation

We love our yoga community and encourage people to reach out and make friends. The few minutes before class are ideal for a short meditation and setting an intention.  Please remain quiet throughout the practice, and we welcome conversation after class. Please do not talk while others are in Savasana.  The teacher may leave you and your fellow students to rest.  This is not a time to talk to a neighbor; please leave the room quietly before the chatting begins.
